Procedure description

The eye surgery is performed under local anaesthesia using drops applied to the eye. It is completely painless and does not last more than 10–15 minutes. The procedure uses two lasers: the femtosecond laser to make a protective corneal lamella, without using sharp instruments, and the excimer laser to correct refractive errors.
First, an aberrometer is used to measure the smallest defects of the eye (higher-order aberrations) which – like fingerprints – are unique to every human being, and these are then transferred to the excimer laser. The femtosecond laser will make a protective corneal lamella very carefully and with excellent accuracy. Thanks to data transfer from the aberrometer, it is possible to approach the patient’s eye individually and remove even the slightest deviations and optical imperfections.
After procedure condition, ordinary daily routine
