Which bariatric procedures are currently available?

Possible weight loss: about 10-20 kg. The balloon is inserted for 6 months. 2 visits at the clinic (insertion and removal) are required.

Possible weight loss: about 10-20 kg. The balloon is inserted for 6 months. 2 visits at the clinic (insertion and removal) are required.
SPATZ balloon for 12 months (BMI>30)
Possible weight loss: 25 kg after 12 months on average. The procedure is done under local anaesthesia, after 12 months is the balloon endoscopically removed. 2 visits at the clinic (insertion and removal) are required. An optional adjustation is available after 6 months (requires an extra visit).
Elipse swallowable balloon (BMI>27)
Possible weight loss: up to 15 %. The balloon is inserted for approx. 16 weeks. No anaesthesia. No second visit for balloon removal needed. The balloon deflates itself and leaves your body naturally.
