Laser EVL (conversion of light energy to thermal energy)
It is used to treat large varicose veins. From a small puncture with a laser probe inserted inside, only the main vein causing varices is sealed. Varicose veins themselves can then be removed by other methods already during the procedure, or left to gradually reduce or lose.
Radio frequency ClosureFast (conversion of radio frequency energy to thermal energy)
Sealing of the main veins (saphenous veins) on the same principle, only by using a different form of energy.
ClariVein
The ClariVein catheter has been developed for the mini invasive treatment of lower limbs – large and small saphenous veins, and venous connections. The tip of the catheter rotates quickly, which causes the blood vessels to contract. At the same time, the sclerotizing solution is injected into the tip and the rotation of the tip causes the solution to evenly distribute on the inner vein wall. This results in the vein being closed along its entire length.
VenaSeal adhesive
One of the newest methods, developed in the USA, used in the Czech Republic since 2015. The essence is the blockage of the main insufficient stem veins causing varicose veins by sealing with glue.
Sclerotization
Suitable for veins smaller than 1 mm in diameter (micro varices). The procedure consists of the injection of a special substance (using thin needles) directly into the veins, which leads to their gradual absorption. This treatment is an addition to the surgical procedure, regularly performed during the surgery and sometimes even after the surgery.
