CATARACT TREATMENT

Currently there are no medical drugs or special glasses that could heal cataracts. The only option is surgery, ultrasound assisted (covered by insurance companies) or laser assisted (a more precise and gentle procedure for self-paying patients).
During the procedure, a lens opaque is removed from the eye, which is replaced by an artificial lens. The patient can choose from different types of intraocular lenses that differ in their optical attributes.
